gen 7 Removing Front Seats

I'm trying to remove 2 front seats in my old 93 Corolla. I removed the 2 front bolts under the seat, but I can't seem to find the 2 rear bolts under the seat. Can anybody where they might be?

They're hidden underneat two trim pieces near the rear rails.

You'll need to slide the seats all the way forward to access them.

They're on the sides in the back (to give passengers in the rear more foot room), mine had plastic covers over them.

As mentioned above, you'll have to slide the seats forward and remove the plastic covers to expose the bolts. On each seat, one side is bolted to the floor, and the other side is bolted vertically next to the B-pillar. There is a plug for the seatbelt warning lamp directly underneath the drivers seat, so be sure to unplug this before removing the seat from your Corolla. The passengers side has no plug to worry about.

Slide the seat all the way forward.

Sit in the back seat.

One is on your right near the seatbelt mount.

One is on the left and is bolted in horizontally as opposed to vertically like the others.

you will need to disassemble the mounting equipment on the underside of the seat.

Depends if you've got fixed rear seats or folding rear seats. Removing fixed rear seats is the easiest. You just pull up the bench seat on each side so that it unclips, remove it from the vehicle and you'll see three bolts underneath that holds in the backrest (one on each side and on in the middle). Undo those and then lift the seat upwards so that the latches slide out of their holes. The hole thing will lift out after that.

As for the folding seats, the procedure to remove the bench seat is the same, but removing the backrests is quite different. After you pop the bench seat out, you'll have to remove the side cushions. Undo the single bolt down the bottom of each one and slide it upwards. Then you can remove the backrests by undoing the bolts holding it to the center hinge, and also undo the bolts holding each backrest to the brackets on each side of the chassis. It'll all make sense once you look at it.
