1995 Toyota Corolla 1.6 L (Transmission Problems)

I transmission in my Toyota occasionally blows a shift and i was wondering if their were any repair manuals or exploded view pics of the specific transmission in my 1995 Toyota corolla... The tranny fluid seems fine and its only occasionally that it does this...I read somewhere that the check balls blow through the valve body...has anyone else heard of this...

is that tranny mounted to a 4A-FE engine? if so, I had a similar problem in that my tranny, when shifted into reverse, refused to move, howvever, we have many used parts dealers here in Trinidad hence i was able to get a used tranny from Japan to install in my car. It has been more than a year now since installation, with NO problems whatsoever.
