gen 7 hesitates off the line

My 93' has 184000km. Recently changes the plugs, wires, distributor cap, air filter, fuel filter, and timing belt, but still have the same problem.

Thinking of taking it to a garage for a diagnostic, but would like some other input before taking it. I have heard it might be the erg valve, but I have no clue where/what it is and if I can change it myself or not.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Its NOT the EGR.

DO a leakdown test to see if your engine internals are OK. Leaky valves/rings cannot be tuned out by regular maintenance.

Start with the leakdown and we'll go from there.

Finally got it fixed!

Car actually started stalling at red lights and was getting harder to start, so I took it into a garage. They said the fuel injector needed a good cleaning as the poor flow was causing the fuel to drip and cause too much gas for the right combustion.

Luckily the guy only charged me $190 after 3 hours of trying to find the problem plus cleaning the injector.

He also recommended that fuel injector cleaner additives you can buy aren't worth a dime and the best way to keep the injector clean is to use premium gas once in a while.

Keep your tank mostly full too as well as a splash of premium. Premium fuel has additives for fuel system cleaning that regular fuel doesnt have.

Also do a search for "top tier" gas to see who actually HAS quality fuel.
