General Maintenance?? What to do next...

I want to keep my car in tip top shape, so it will last forever lol. It has 126K miles and is a manual. I am hoping for 300K+ miles. I figure i have another 20 years @ 12K miles per year.

So far I have done the following:
New Timing Belt (OEM Toyota)
New Timing Belt Idler (OEM Toyota)
New Valve Cover Gasket (OEM Toyota)
New Cam & Crank Seals (OEM Toyota)
All 4 Engine Mounts (OEM Toyota)
New Cap & Rotor (OEM Toyota)
New Wires (OEM Toyota)
New Spark Plugs (NGK)
Replaced Injector Orings
New Fuel Filter (OEM Toyota)
New Drive Belts (Goodyear)
New Idler Pulley (OEM Toyota)
New Radiator Fluid
New Thermostat (OEM Toyota)
New Clutch/Pressure Plate (OEM Toyota)
New Throwout Bearing(OEM Toyota)
Resurfaced Flywheel
New Slave Cylinder (OEM Toyota)
New Trans Fluid
New Exhaust Hanger (OEM Toyota)
Seafoam Treatment in Tank, Brake Booster.
Took intake part and cleaned all the carbon build up out
New inside & outside door handles

I change the oil every 3K miles with an OEM Toyota Filter and Mobil 1 Clean 5000 10W/30. When i change the oil, i also:
Clean Air Filter
Clean PCV Valve

Is there anything im forgetting? What should i concentrate on next? I have read that there are issues with the radiator going out about 200K miles? What about the drive axles?

I will be replacing the tires and brakes pretty soon, they are only a few years old.

Thanks

I didnt see the spark plug well seals listed. Depending on where you got the valve cover gasket they can be in the box, or they arent.

Most of the time Toyota radiators fail when the plastic tank splits. You can change now or just wait until it starts to ooze.

Axles are generally good for many miles unless the boot splits. Turn your wheels all the way in one direction and look at the creases on the boot as you turn the hub. Of course splattered grease on the spindle/control arm is a dead giveaway.

Since you are doing brake maintenance next, change your brake fluid. Brake fluid absorbs moisture and the resulting oxidation creates havoc later. The synthetic DOT4 fluid I'm told doesnt have this problem, OR its minimal.

You are on the right track so far. Car should easily make it to 300k miles. I am passing 360k miles on my car. My driveaxles did not go bad until 200k miles. But I bought used ones for $20 bucks each. I expect to make it to 400k miles by this time next year.

I dont believe they were changed. I might order them, along with some of those rubber washers that go under the valve cover bolts.

When i changed my clutch, there was a little grease that had "splatted" against the engine on the passenger side axle.

I will probably do new pads/shoes and completely flush the brake fluid. I have been wanting to bleed the brakes since i haven't touched those since i got the car. But im just gonna wait until i have to do a complete brake job.

I am starting to wonder if i will even hit 300K? In 20 years, it will be 37 years old.... im sure tons of other parts will break/deteriorate in that amount of time. I would like to sink more money into the car, but am having my doubts. It is in great mechanical condition, but the paint is really bad.. Plus it will probably need new shocks/struts soon .

Thats great to hear! What year is yours? Manual or Auto?

How many miles do you put on it in 1 year? Have you had any other problems other than the things i listed?

So true. If this was a Land Cruiser or Cressida, then there would be no doubt.

this is in the corolla scetion, I got 306,5k miles with lots of abuse and high revving...only ever had to change the rad fan, waterpump, starter, timing belt and auxillary belts, and do a service...

my advice is keep regularily servicing it, and only replace bits when they break lol.its a toyota after all so not too much will go wrong
