moonroof leaks

The moonroof of my 1996 corolla leaks in heavy rains, mainly at the driver's side. I searched the internet and found it may be related to the moonroof weatherstrip or sealing. I do hear big wind noise when driving on highway, but I am not sure if the two are correlated indeed. I asked a guy at AutoZone for help and he told me they do not have anything to fix it.

Can someone please tell how to fix it or replace something? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
-Kevin

Yep, it's more than likely the seal around it is damaged or improperly seated, but also make sure that the drainage holes aren't blocked up.

There was a thread like this a little while ago that has some good information in it. Here's the link:

Thank you. I just checked the seal but did not see any obvious damage. I was not able to find any drainage hole. Do you know where are the holes please?

As far as I know, the drainage holes should be on each corner of the moonroof (you may have to open the moonroof to see them properly). The two front drainage holes will lead to small nipples behind the fenders, and the two rear drainage holes lead to nipples near the taillights. Try pouring water down them and see if you notice any water on the ground by the fenders and taillights afterwards. If not, then they're more than likely blocked.
