I guess it was my turn...

Someone in a Honda Odessy cut across 3 lanes to get to a gas station and hit me... Not sure whats happening with the car yet... lets see what insurance says.

What makes it worse is i spent all day putting in my "new" K-sports...

I really wasn't looking forward to opening this thread.....

Sorry to hear that bro. This Corolla curse really has to come to a stop. I hope the insurance pulls through and decides to replace the parts. It's hard to tell the extent of the damage judging by the photo, but it doesn't look like there are any structural parts damaged which is good.

On a positive note, the new K-sports look good . All the best with the repairs. Let us know how you get on.

Its not a corolla curse its a stupid driver curse!

Somehow our lawmakers seem to think that seat belt laws will solve all the problems, when its driver stupidity that should be addressed.

I agree. However, it seems strange that it has been happening to Corollas in particular over the past 6-months or so, including in the 10th Gen forum. I've lost count of how many I've seen now.

The kit looks nice.

I remember when the Gen3 Camry forums had people one after another getting into accidents. PRetty depressing since a lot of them the insurance company didn't want to repair the cars.

Best of luck

Dang, that sucks! I liked your car and was pretty bummed out to see this thread.

By the way, what's the offset of your wheels? I noticed they were even with the fenders but tucked when you lowered it more...was it just the coilovers or did you use a camber kit?

Im not sure what the offset is the rims dont say on them, I would guess +45. The tire sticks out futher than the rim making it seem like a lower offset though.

I guess the coilovers somehow tucked it, but the car was completely undrivable with those tires at that height. Thats why in the accident picture i am using the stock wheels, it gave me just enough clearance to turn.
