Manual Rack for 93-97 rolla / prizm

I have been searching for a while and I can't find any information if there was a manual rack made for the 93-97 rolla/ prizm. Do any of you know if there was one made?? If not how could i eliminate power steering altogether? I think having one less chance of a leak is better, besides one more belt gone. Any information would be much appreciated on this topic. Thank you

I would reconsider this if I were you. Small cars with small tires (like Corollas) do not take well to manual steering. Power steering systems leak very rarely, and trust me when I say it isn't worth the 3-5hp (if that) you 'lose' from turning your power steering pump.

Just something for you to keep in mind.

If the accessory drag really bothers you that much, try finding an oversize power steering pulley. This will make the pump easier to turn, and as such, will require less rotational force from the engine. It will also spin the pump slower, however, so your power steering may not be effective when the engine is at idle. It depends on how much larger the pulley is over stock.

yes but they are rare and few made it to north america. No dealer here was going to intentionally order a corolla without power steering as it would be a pain to sell. Parts stores have a listing, but usually a used one would need to be sourced from over seas.
