Corolla Station Wagon Rebirth

Hi all,

As suggested by Ishaq in other automotive forum, I want to post my regular family station wagon here.
I know it's not much (or too much, perhaps) for some people, but I guess it's quite enough to be enjoyed by myself...
( end of my Mod Session #1 ... )

Enjoy!

Thanks in advance for any comments...

p.s. here's the previous pics before I smoked the corner lamps:

ha ha ha .... same suggestion from some members of every automotive forums I posted those pics...

Thanks but no thanks....

This current GC has already cost me some money to remake my current car port to avoid the grounded possibility....

In my little city, almost every housings have humps. And if I decided to adjust/lower my suspension, I'm sure I will be in deep sh*t....
Not just the housing areas, it also may cause me a lot of trouble for entering the upstairs car park in malls/plazas...

^ Haha, I know the feeling. Everyone told me the same thing about my Corolla too, until I lowered it . It's a shame that you've got lots of speed bumps where you live as it would look so much better lowered. Maybe if you win the lottery you could install air bag suspension . I guess that's the downside of having such a low front bumper. Speaking of which, did you get it custom made? It looks like an OEM JDM face-lift bumper that has been custom modified. I love the colour by the way!

Yup. The front & rear original bumpers have been modified recently.

And if u wonder, what parts I took to made this design, here's the list:
front: Subaru Imprezza 2004
rear: Mitsubishi Evo VIII ings+1
side skirts: Honda Fit/Jazz 2008
spoiler: Honda Fit/Jazz Mugen

Combining the above parts, and voila ... there's the result. It took me more than a week to make it complete.
Regarding the color, thanks...
btw, it has been existed since I bought this baby a several years ago (where it seems the previous owner has repainted this car. The original color was white).
And if u see this color in person (not thru the camera lens), u might think that it's kinda greenish. So I just call this color a greenish blue...

I only consider this as a mod experiment, and it's nice to know that my taste is not much difference with u guys here.... :P

In addition, the engine specs are as follows: 5E-FE, 1500cc, A/T, FWD.

@ miib14... glad to see u, too... thanks dude for the info & the compliment...

@corolla96... thanks for the question. It's only a modded bumper.
At first I wanted to apply "Mitsubishi Evo VIII ings+1" design as full front bumper, but if I did it, it only make the characteristic of Corolla gone away. So, I'm glad I didn't do it, I just added some stuffs here and there and still maintained the most of Corolla's original characteristics (especially the grill and the front bumper)...

lovely ride kevin, would be a sure winner down here in my country as everyone says it will look better lowered even if it by 1.5" drop, but it sucks that where you are has so many humps and stuff and i love the way you peice together items from other cars to come up with a lovely bodykit.

@ topnotch... I'm glad u like it. Thanks for the compliment.
As I also mentioned this in other thread, I'm assure u that it's automatically lowered when I bring full passengers and many heavy stuffs in my jumbo trunk...
This is the main reason besides the humps, to avoid hitting the fenders and maintain the comfort of the suspension.

Freaking nice man! If you can't lower it, put on bigger rims and tires.

@ aznstylez... thanks.
But after careful calculation, I decided to pick this 15" rims and put 195/50 tyres (Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07) in order to minimize the size difference between these ones and the stock size (maybe @ 185/65/13).

Depending on the model, they came with either 13" or 14" wheels.
