Something definitely isn't right, you've got no calipers on!!

But in all seriousness, great work with the 5-lug conversion. I would also be keen to know what you got them off. I hope you're going to do a DIY for this!

2ZZGE? lol

And no, it;s not actually "converted". This is MAJOR testing for measurements for another project thats planned. BUT, oddly, in the process, I MAY have discovered a bolt together 5-lug swap in the front. I'll have to figure stuff out and do testing. IF that does indeed work out, I could then redesign the Camry/Solara BBK brackets to run the Supra rotor and Camry twin pot calipers. I need to research the rear as well.

Problem is credit card is maxed out so will be a few months before I can figure stuff out.

Those of you that know me know I;m screwed up, lol.

you'd stick a 2zz in a 7th gen? why not trade with me, take my 8th gen and put the 2zz in that and i'll take your 7th gen and put a 4age w/ 6spd. btw a 2zz 7gen would be epic. but so would one with a v6.

2ZZ has too little torque and HP for my needs. From what I have read, the 1ZZ is actually a better platform for hi output. Not sure how true that is though.

Well the 1zz starts around 110-120whp stock and the 2zz is around 150-160. The 1zz isn't exactly great and it makes lousy torque even though it's designed for it. The 2zz is better n/a or boosted.

I mean for 300whp, lol. The 2ZZ lacks torque (like VTEC). I know just doing stuff like adding the TRD SC it;s sure as hell better on the 2ZZ. Espetially since it has the 6-speed. Too bad Toyota is going to hell......

so are you going to tell us what bits and pieces you used to make the 5-stud conversion?

btw will the standard corolla calipers bolt onto your current setup, or is it to different?

It wasn't even fully bolted on. I was testing out the camry hub/knuckle. The tie rod wasn't even close. The ball joint was dead on perfect. The strut bolts were spaced slightly off. But I have another idea. I need to compare parts. Hopefully have more answers next week.

Will do. I give it 50/50 I can mix/match Camry and Rolla parts for the front for a 5x114. But the rears I have no idea on. I'll have to look into that.
