My Corolla

This is my daily driver corolla, 1992 model, 5 door hatchback

How it started lying outside my house while I decided to break it or not...and as I'm driving I kept it lol

http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/DSC00450.jpg
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/DSC00453.jpg

then the mods began, bar the alloys and ae111 levin bzr enhaust put on..
corolla GS clocks
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/DSC00910.jpg
exhaust shortened by about 4" and GXi bumper
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/DSC00907.jpg
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/DSC00906.jpg
grille debadged
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/DSC00903.jpg
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/DSC00904.jpg
B-pillar back windows tinted sometime after the grille, no after-pics really lol...

Current spec:
exterior
20V front bumper
Gxi rear bumper
wolfrace enigma wheels (right name for them over here)
jdm front koito headlights and corner lights
modified OEM rear lights
I change between modified OEM grille (now with black mesh) and the JDm "C xxx" grille
JDM twin-horns.my god they're fu**in loud lol
engine/chassis
induction filter
de-cat (self-made)
ae111 levin bzr exhaust shortened to fit
monroe replacement shocks (stiff enough around corners)
mostly new bushings/links
interior
jap-dash conversion
4-electric window conversion
Jap fold-in mirror conversion
jap sunvisors with jap writing
jap arm-rest
levin bzr front semi-buckets (direct bolt in for anyone interested
non-smokers ashtray pocket (no pic)
corolla gs and corolla plus mixed instruments
optional rear-speaker model (lots actually were)
added clarion rear speakers
pioneer 6cd changer HU
jap wiper stalks, adjustable intermediate wiper
central locking retro-fitted
wheels painted white

plans are more jap bits and stickers, and if money allows...
15x8 xxr wheels
carbon rivet-on arches
cheap used ae111 levin/trueno bzr coilovers

then it'll be pretty sweet

front and side

jap twin-compartment armrest

http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/PICT0060.jpg

OEM hatch speakers (under cover) and clarion's

http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/PICT0061.jpg

Engine
if ever something proves toyota reliability, then this engine does.sat in a shed for over 2 years, is put into a car and given an oil change, sparkplugs changed and distributor off old engine on (this one didn't where I got it) and fired up right away nearly.chose to keep it old and withered looking for the laugh lol

http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...a/PICT0063.jpg

AND: for topnotch, kiwi-corolla and miib14 I actually finally got a video, exhaust gases kinda made the "wind sounds" on the video

Great to finally see some pics of your Corolla! . Looking good so far, although that engine bay needs some serious attention!! . The exhaust sounds pretty loud, but not raspy which is good. I like what you've done with the OEM rear lights, looks much better . Thanks for sharing the pics

sure I told ye eventually when we'd get a dry enough day I'd take pics LOL
I explained the state of the engine bay, the engine covering layer of shed dust and dirt is a homage to toyota reliability haha
told you it was loud.must try get a video of it backfiring in a tunnel again, or how it sets off alarms on some cars in multi-story carparks
i just wanted to change the rear lights for the 20V look before I split them, but as soon as I noticed the laid-into-place bit in the top half that allows the crystal look basically they got binned immdeiately ha
no problemo scott.always perving over the pics of your corolla because its perfect, so though I'd let everyone have a look at my daily.will have pics of the stripped-out turbo when its finished and on the road...

Nice little project you have going.

What is your tire size and the offset to your wheels?

Any rubbing?

ah its only the daily so doesn't get half as much love as the 3-door lol
tires are now 195/50 R15, i think offset is around 38 or 40...
only rubs when the car is full of people...my exhaust rubs over ramps more than the wheel-off-arch sound haha
