gen 7 amp/subs in 97 corolla?

I have a 97 corolla and was looking into subs recently. Im currently thinking about putting in a 350w amp to power a 300rms sub. Id really like to put in 2 subs powered by a 500w amp but im not sure if my car could handle it. I plan on upgrading the big three cables but dont want to replace the alternator.

Would my car be able to handle the 500w amp without upgrading the alternator?

im using this...

http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/pdx-5/

with this

http://www.ddaudio.com/caraudio/09/DDLE.htm

with an 8" box.

i get no headlight dimming, no issues at all really, stock battery and 50amp fuse.

i highly recommend both products, for 300watts and 8" woofer, the sound is HUGE

upgrading the stock alternator would be your last resort. If you're looking to go towards 1000+ rms watts for your sub, I'd put in a kinetik or shuriken high capacity 2nd battery and also do the Big 3 electrical upgrade. I put in 4ga wiring for the Big 3, put in 2ga power wiring, a battery isolator and a kinetik hc1400 as a 2nd battery to help minimize dimming of my lights as I have an Audiopipe 1500 rms at 1ohm powering a 12" Hifonics Olympus 1612 1600 rms sub in a 3cf box!
