there are 2 adjustements you can make:
1- pedal freeplay which is the the pedal travel until it contacts the pushrod mechanism of the clutch. The manual says you should have about a quarter inch of freeplay.
2- pedal height which is the actual amount of pushrod in relation to the hydraulic master cylinder. This is the actual adjustment that controls the friction point.
Both adjustments are important and contribute to the overall feel of the pedal
It is hard to explain but once you get down there, take your time and you will see.
