I have the miracle battery, a cheapo WalMart battery has gone almost 8 years through 6-7 winters in a car that up until a couple years ago wasn't driven much. However, I think I got lucky with it, and it will need replacement before this winter. Starts good but the cells are swelling so it's at the end of the road. Having the heavy duty 80 amp Delco alternator has probably helped.

Gold Duralast battery from Autozone: 640cca as main starter battery. I have a kinetik hc1400 as a 2nd battery: 1500amp, 60 amp hours, battery isolator installed in between both batteries.

I've have very good luck with Autozone batteries. I hope they are still good and not turned to crap like the quality of many of their other parts.
