first post...AC problems
My first post here. This seems to be a great place to learn about all things Toyota. Anyways, My 1996 corolla DX compressor clutch went out last week, and took the end of the compressor with it. So I bought a good used compressor from a local scrap yard, installed, added correct amount of oil and proceded to charge it. The low side pressure at idle is around 30psi, and the high side is around 185psi, which seem correct to me. Its seems to be cooling properly, however, the compressor is not cycling at an idle like it did before the clutch went out. I can rev the motor to around 2k rpm, and it cycles, just not at an idle. To my understanding, it should cycle around 3 times a minute. So.....what should I look at next?
