Engine Hestiation 94' 1.6 AT

I'm getting a barely noticable hestiation on my corolla at highway speeds, Previous owner says it may be a Vacuum issue, Vacuum Control Valve may be clogged or stuck??

Any suggestions?

Another quick question, If feels as if I am revving really high, I have no RPM I shift into 3rd at about 80 KPH....Is that normal?

its a 1994 1.6L Automatic with 149,000 miles on it.

Maybe you should check it out to see if it is vacuum related. Regarding the High revving, does the tranny shift normally, and into lock up. Since it is the 3 speed, it would cause the engine to rev higher on the highway compared to the 4 speed.

Check your air filter, and replace your fuel filter if you haven't done so. Your transmission is fine. You most likely have a 3 speed. Since you have no 4th gear your car just over rev's. This is a good video check it out. Might help your situation
