recall #142435, - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Hey guys,

I was surfing the net and found some random discussion about struts and strut mounts dating back to march of this year. They were talking about this recall recall #142435, and it is supposed to replace the broken strut mounts and struts on a 1995 corolla. Does anybody know if this is valid even if I just bought this car. And my tip front strut mount is broken.

Ive had a strut mount break on me. That was a few years ago, as far as a recall on this id like to see a link to this. specially for a car that's 15 years old. They're not very expensive i wouldn't hold my breathe for the dealer to fix it.
