Replace Ignition Switch 1996 Corolla

I need to replace the ignition switch in my 1996 Corolla. I found out recently that I can get the part and do the install myself for about $200 less than if I had a dealership do it. Everyone I have talked to has said replacing the switch is "easy" but no one can tell me what I need to do. So, before I make the final choice on if it is worth the $200 extra to have it done by dealership- could someone tell me (as detailed as possible) what I need to do to replace the ignition switch.
