A/C Issue
I'm new here. I just bought a 94 Corolla a couple of days ago to use as a commuter to work.
The AC isn't working though. According to the previous owner, it was working great until he had all the belts replaced and I think he also said he had coolant added.
The compressor doesn't kick on at all. The AC switch on the dash doesn't even light up. I checked the voltage at the relay and there's no power to it at all. I tried a jumper from the battery to the relay socket which did make the compressor kick on. However, the air was still blowing warm.
I don't have a pressure guage and I really wouldn't know what to do with one if I did have it. So, I'm not sure about the coolant level. I don't think that would cause the lack of power to the relay though, unless there's some kind of switch.
I'm obviously no expert on this. Any opinions?
