Would you buy a rebuild kit on eBay?

I have a hard time believing that anyone would produce 'cheap chinese' motor parts, but you never know! Sellers seems legit enough... price is pretty right no?!

I would approach with caution and purchase at your own risk.

For some things, Chinese stuff will get you buy alright. However, a lot of it is not much of a bargain than the OEM equivalent. I certainly wouldn't use those cheap parts on something major like an engine rebuild.

EDIT: Plus you'll be putting a LOT of time and effort into a rebuild, making it all the worth while to do it right the first time.

It comes down to the question, "what's peace of mind worth?"

Price seems kinda low IMO

http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...ek-toyota.html (# 27 )

http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...-discount.html

After I installed them, i saw a major difference in the car, it was faster for sure and it seems like it does better on gas now.

but again, if you want the best quality and good price then Toyota is the place to go. (not saying my parts are low quality, there are expensive though)

Yeah I got the HP kits bookmarked from when I was looking up motor building but I have given up on this being a toy car. It needs too much regular maintenance work all around to be trying to trick it out.
