Unhappy Ride hight question

i just fitted 2 front original shock absorbers but i feel that the front right side of the car is lower than the front left side i even measured the difference but i can not determine the difference accurately i think its about a 1cm difference between the height of the front right side and the left one

is that normal or just i am feeling so even a friend ride the car with me told me the passenger side is a little bit lower than the driver side

This is quite normal as generally the springs are designed to be a fraction higher on the driver's side to accommodate for the driver's weight. This was the case when I installed my lowering springs. Did you use the OEM rubber bump stops when you reinstalled the springs to the new struts? Also, did you make sure that the springs went back in the same side that they came out of? And finally, did you tighten everything when the car was sitting on the ground? (not jacked up).

i installed the rubber bump and tightened every thing well but the problem is i am not sure that the springs returned to its original position there is a recess in the shock absorber base that the spring tip set on it that what i made but i don not know if that is right or wrong

Yeah the end of the spring is meant to sit in lowest part of the bump-stop/strut. The best way to measure the height difference on each side is to measure from the edge of each fender to the centre of each wheel. Make sure you're on level ground when measuring though.

For the sake of 0.4 of an inch (1cm) I wouldn't worry about it. Try and get a friend to measure it when you're actually sitting in the car and it will probably end up being the same height as the other side.

Is it better to tighten everything on the floor or jacked up?

When it comes to suspension components, definitely when the car's sitting on the ground
