Angry Help Factory Alarm Issue and horn issue

Ok for starters my 93 corolla is equipped with a factory Alarm and has a key Fob(remote that locks and unlocks doors) I dont carry the remote because the piece is broke that keeps it on the key ring but it still works (amazingly) anyway to the question, The car alarm goes off every time I open the doors and dont put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position within 15 seconds. There is a factory toyota alarm box under the drivers seat if I pull the wiring clip out the alarm does not go off but in doing so you cannot crank the car, so I know the alarm is integrated through this unit but I dont know a way around the box or any other way to turn it off( there is a power button on the unit and have tried several times to switch it off but with no luck so any suggestions?
Ok the horn issue I have checked fuses by the way so what happened was I was pulling the underside of the dash one day and found a rats nest of wires (looks as if there was maybe a aftermarket alarm or something plugged in here at one time I could see where it was all spliced into the factory harness and was definitely aftermarket and I am a bit of a neat freak so I cut out the extra wires and mess that someone had put in and since then I have no horn but everything else still works, including factory alarm (also just for notes my alarm issues was happening well before i cut out these wires) so any takers on these issues?

I'm not sure what's causing the problem you've got with the horn, but as for the alarm, I'd highly suggest getting the alarm system professionally uninstalled, as doing it yourself can cause problems. There is a quick fix however, and it involves putting the factory alarm system in 'Valet Mode'. This will disable all security features (such as the audible alarm etc), but the central locking will still work via the key fob.

Follow these instructions:

1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'ON' position (not "ACC").
2. Using 1 remote control, press and hold both buttons at the same time for over 2-seconds, until the status monitor's LED turns on.

** You must perform the next steps within 30-seconds **

3. Press and release the TOP remote control button TWICE (the chirper will chirp twice and the exterior lights will flash twice).
4. Turn the key to the 'LOCK' position (the chirper will chirp three times and the exterior lights will flash three times).

If you do not turn the key to 'LOCK', or exceed 30-seconds during the programming steps, the status monitor's LED will turn off, and the previous operation mode will remain unchanged.

If you don't want to disable the alarm and simply want to extend the 'Entry Delay Time' from 15-seconds to 30-seconds then let me know. You can also turn the 'Entry Delay Time' off completely by programming the 'Passive Arming' mode to 'off'.

Good luck!

Hmm, that's weird. Does the alarm control box have anything written on it? My instructions were for the VIP RS3000 factory alarm. You could try pressing the one button instead, but there's no guarantees that it'll work unfortunately.
