Brand new radiator leaking?

Replaced my 7A-FE radiator last weekend and did a complete cooling system overhaul. Today I looked in the engine bay and noticed this all the way across the entire width of the lower end tank:

New radiator is crap? I need to see if it has a lifetime warranty. I purchased it in April but it sat in my garage until last weekend before I finally had the chance to install it.

*edit* radiator is a Ready-Rad radiator from Advance Auto Parts, and yes the receipt shows it has limited lifetime replacement.

check the cap and make sure its not just left over coolant. rinse it down with water and keep an eye on it.

If you reused the old hoses you may have a leak past them if you didnt clean out deposits.

But with todays poor quality control I wouldnt rule out a leaker out of the box.

I reused the upper and lower rad hoses only because they were less than 2 years old.

I poured a little water down there this morning, and did not see any more coolant this afternoon or tonight. Guess it must have been a bit of overflow when I topped it off yesterday morning.

Will keep checking it later on this coming week to see if I really need to replace it.
