Which power steering pressure line?

Is there a way to know which power steering pressure line (o-ring or flare) is on my 93 corolla (1.6L / auto) before removing the old one? All the parts stores have the o-ring on stock, but the flare is a special order item. Thanks in advance.

my 96 has the o ring type, its a 1.6 stick.

i bought both and returned the one i didnt use.

I believe the O-ring part is for US models, the flared part - Japanese models. If your serial number starts with a number vs a letter, It's a US model.

I had to replace mine last year, and greenjeans is right - assuming things haven't been switched out since the car was built.
