Front End roblems

Hello, my fellow Rolla Owner, Front End Issues
Ok This is what i have, A 1993 corolla 1.8 . recently i notice a clicking noise coming from the front end as you make a turn. I notice the the previous owner had replace both axles. So I decide to get dirty and investigate . I lefted the front and jack it up and ran the car in gear. Notice both oil seal are leaking from the trans and humming noise coming from both axles. also i notice the abs sensor on the axles is rubbing with the dust deflector may the noise is coming from there?
please help me Tommy

well bro it seems you have to get those seals replace first, after that if the noise presist then check your CV joints check the dust boots to see if they are torn the clicking noise you hear when you turn could be caused of bad CV joint, also if after replacing CV joints and those seals to stop the oil leak and you still have a humming noise then probaly your wheel bearings are goin bad as well, but make the replacing of those trans seals your first priorty.

The dust covers are approximately $1.80 each at the dealer and will have to be special ordered.

I bent the crap out of my dust covers while removing the axles. For such a cheap replacement why not be safe?

The dust covers extend the life of the oil seal.

yes tomas812 you do need those dust covers as clayton1984 explained they extend the life of those seals plus keep out the unwanted dust and debre from the roads which with harden or damage your seals.
