Clarification: 1994 geo prizm 1.6l

I just want to clarify that the 1.6l engine is the 4AFE engine. Also, which years of the corolla's and prizm's have the 1.6 dohc 16 valve efi engine? Basically, my good friend's 94 prizm shot his rod out of the front of the block last night! I might try and track down another engine at a junkyard to swap in. It's an auto as well if it matters. Also if I could see some engine shots or diagrams too that would be awesome until I check out a manual or something. Thanks in advance, sorry these cars are a bit new to me, I'm use to Turbo Dodges hehe!
