Odb 1-1994 tyt corolla-code 26

Hi All,

I need tips in how to tackle the Problem of code 26 particular to a Toyota Corolla 1994-

How to start? in sequencial order.

Welcome to the forums! Code 26 would indicate that an overly rich air/fuel ratio has been detected by the oxygen sensor. If the main oxygen itself was faulty, it would throw code 21.

As for the code 26, check the coolant temperature sensor, intake air temperature sensor, fuel pressure regulator, EVAP system, EGR system (if applicable), MAP sensor and air intake system. If you've got a digital multimeter then you can check most of those yourself. The Haynes manual gives a good run-down on how to do it
