Question Ultrasonic injector cleaning

Hey, I'm curious to see if anyone has had their injectors cleaned ultrasonically? If so, how did it work out for you?

I'm trying to find a place that offers this type of service around SoCal (LA, Riverside or Inland Empire), but haven't had any luck.

Surprised no-one has made comments on this.

My experience with ultrasonic cleaning says it wont do much good. Its not very good for the deposits that affect the spray pattern. I do know there are shops that will refurbish injectors and give a before & after pic of the pattern to show improvements.

Really? I've read somewhere it's recommended to get the injectors cleaned every 50K miles or so. Replacing them that often is almost out of the question, given the price for a set of 4. What about injector cleaning fluids like Z-Max... I'm wondering if it is worth using? Thanks for your input, by the way.

While I have used the Lucas product as a preventative measure I dont have any hard data to say it works or not. Same with Z-Max. I think Carrol Shelby only says its good because his paycheck is good.
