gen 7 96 prizm no start

hey all,

i have a 96 prizm with 148k on it.
i arrived at work today and was trying to plow a path in the snowbank alongside the curb when my car just died out.
currently we dont have any spark and the fuel pump is not engaging.
it turns over just fine and will crank and crank until the cows come home but no start.

any ideas where to start?

No spark OR fuel at once?

No visible physical damage?

Check again. Mighta knocked something loose.

if you are sure the fuel pump is not engaging check the main relay located behind the radio. I have never been successful in testing the fuel pump because i couldnt hear the clicking its supposed to do when engaged. I would check the timing belt and make sure it didnt skip a tooth. I was off by a tooth once and my car wouldnt start. I checked the fuel pump, starter relays and continuity of the wires from the main fuse to the fuel pump and all it turned out to be was the t belt.

it is all fixed now, replaced the headlight fuse and it runs fine, I dont know why it would cause it to not run but it did. timing is fine.
