gen 7 Shift Arm Bushings?

Edit: This is a '95 Prizm 1.6 with the 5 speed, all factory AFAIK except a short shifter. Slop was there before I put that in. I suspect the bushings under the hood, in the shift arms that are up on the transmission.

I can't find shift arm bushing anywhere. The only place that even had them listed on their computer was AutoZone, and it was listed as a part that they can't even order.

The closest I can find is this post, which doesn't give the width and I'd like someone to confirm that they have something that actually works: http://www.corolland.com/forums/inde..._1#entry155184

I have enough side-to--side slop that I consider it bordering on dangerous. I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks.

The shift linkage cable or cables if it's manual have round rubber grommits at the ends where a pin on the transmission linkage arm goes thru it. You can get the grommits from the dealer cheap. I believe these are the part numbers

90480-01400
90080-48015

I got some from a place called speed source. Unfortunately I can't find there website anymore. But I do have an email you can try. These are solid brass bushing replacements. I'm very happy with them.
