I got a new battery 2 months ago because one of the cells died, and yesterday I couldn't start my car. I had to jump start it, but it worked the rest of the day. Tried to turn it on just now and nothing. Headlights won't come one, didn't hear anything from the starter. I think its the battery, but could there be something damaging the battery? Also, its a cheap wal-mart battery.

it could be that the cheap walmart battery you got doesn't have enough cold cranking amps, but it sounds like maybe your alternator is failing. I know that Autozone can test your alternator for free.

I figured it out. There was some corrosion in the terminals that I missed.
