OEM alloy wheelset for 97 Corolla?

I've found a few links about getting wheels for a Corolla, and they indicate that there were only the steel wheels with caps available for my 97 Corolla. Geez, my 91 Camry had the same, but at least I could find good 15" Toyota alloys for that car. These are 14s and I don't want to spend tons of money, nor buy the stylized, racing, whatever, rims available these days. I just would want a classic look from Toyota...

Maybe I should look for those 15" Camry rims and see if they fit?

Probably 4 vs 5 lug I bet.

hawk,

I just googled 97' Prizm wheels and it looks like there were some 4 hole alloys. IF they fit, might find some in a junkyard for a reasonable price.

the factory prizm alloys are near impossible to find. i searched for 2 years in the junkyards and the parts cars on craigslist. yes they will fit the corolla being that they both have the 4x100 lug pattern but for some reason after they come off they disappear. even if you do find them the center caps say geo on them and i dont think you want that. if i recall correctly the corollas actually did come with factory alloys but theyre even harder to find and they almost look like the hubcaps. here is what they look like.

Looks like the same thing they had on the older MR2's.
