How to modify geo prizm body kit?

Hi. I have a 97 corolla. I work at a body shop that specializes in working on 18 wheeler trucks and trailers, but on occassion we work on cars. I bought a body kit from extreme dimensions a few months ago for my car, but it was intended for a geo prizm, but will still fit the corolla, with slight "modifications." The side skirts look fine, and the front bumper needs a little cut off of it around the grille, but the back bumper is off BAD. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before? Ive had the body kit longer than the 30 days to return it, plus i've lined the inside of the front bumper with extra fiberglass to reinforce it. So unless i find a way to make it fit, im out $600. Unless i can find a 97 prizm to put it on...

Also, the car has been hit in the rear. I replaced the brackets and the actual fiberglass bumper reinforcement, but if you look in the trunk under the carpet, you can see that it's crimped on the inside. I dont think thats why it's not fitting, because it looks like the rear bumper is too wide for the corolla.
