My 5-Speed manual gearbox is dying my mechanic said so its (leaking oil and noisy while driving)
so i am searching for a used one from a junk yard but i am confused is the 5-speed gearbox in the 2E engine the same as the one fitted to the 4A-FE engine?also how long can i go with this gear i can now reach 160 km/h by it?

It could be leaking from the axle shaft seals. Those aren't too hard to replace. I know on my 7A the refill bolt is located on top of the transmission under the airbox. Refill with some fluid and give it hell.

i already replaced those seals and refilled it but it is leaking from inside the tranny it self i always find the oil coming from the area where the gear meets the engine around the connecting bolts
