well i do kno that when it gets wet out and a car doesnt start it could be a distributor cap getting wet allowing no spark. but i done checked my spark. i just replaced my distributor cap and rotor and plugs and wires last month cuz of this problem...ive tried researching every where to get the same answer about the distibutor cap. was hopin for somethin else on here.

Take a flash light and inspect the wiring under the hood for chafing and damage to the harnesses that could let in water on top of making sure everything is snug. Does it start if you push in the throttle?

Now were getting somewhere. You HAVE to give information to get back any relevant information, like what you have done so far and ever WHICH car you have. (There are some differences between years)

Ever wonder what WD stands for in WD40?

It means water dispersion. Try using it on one of those wet days to get rid of the moisture that can be causing your problems. Hopefully you'll guess well and find it with a few squirts. Also confirm that its spark that you lose when it wont start.
