I used 3" piping for mine. If you want to replicate my exact set-up, you'll need:

* 2x 45-degree 3" alloy pipes
* 1x 3"-2.5" silicone reducer (for the throttle body)
* 1x 3"-3" silicone joiner (to connect the pipes together)
* Pod filter with a 3" inlet
* 5x hose clamps (only 4 required if your pod filter comes with one)

Full instructions can be found here:

And the DIY that was written based on those instructions can be found here:

If you have any questions just let me know

I wouldn't worry to much about the alert from Norton, it's probably just a false alarm. I've heard of siliconeintakes.com before, and haven't heard anything bad about them. Maybe you could contact them directly. Here's their eBay profile link: http://myworld.ebay.com/siliconeintakes

I'd offer to send you a couple from here in NZ, but I'm pretty sure the guy I got mine from is out of stock at the moment as my mate tried to buy one a couple of weeks ago.

It's hard to tell Kiwi, but did you move your battery for this? Anyway to get it in without moving the battery?

Yep, but I only had to move it about half an inch to an inch. My battery is quite small however, so if you have a large battery then it will require you to move it over further (which may result in relocating the coolant overflow bottle). Bear in mind that I only had to move my battery due to the large diameter of the 3" piping, so if you use 2.5" piping instead then it won't need to be moved over as far, or not at all if you're lucky
