Update...EGR Delete?

Well I got my car running good from this thread:
95 Corolla wont start.

Looks like the EGR was so clogged up it trashed the intake manifold as well. Got it all cleaned up and the car runs like a champ. A minor hiccup here and there but it runs great. Now, is there a way to delete or block off the egr to prevent this from happening again? I know its illegal to delete emissions stuff but I am curious if anyone knows how or has done it.

Usually when you do an EGR delete you get a CEL. I have heard of ways to fool the ecu but I havent read anything Toyotacentric.

Took apart the intake manifold and the disaster of vacuum lines and cleaned it all up. EGR valve looked like it had rust or something in it. Car runs even worse now and sometimes wont even hold an idle...
