26 feet (Rear Brakes)
Had a bad scare this past week. A rear brake line burst in a rusty spot and left me without brakes 25 miles from home in hilly country!! I was able to get home safely and get to work.
Of course the LONGEST run to the right rear was the culprit! Three 5 foot sections was the exact amount to re-run the whole line. Of course disturbing the lines caused the other side to leak too. Another 11 feet fixed that side too.
Sooo now anyone who runs into this problem now knows how much they have to buy. Toyota is much smarter than many vehicle manufacturers and uses only ONE size male fitting on all ends so just cut off an end to get the right size and get your new line.
Rusty lines in the front to back area is common in older Corollas. Inspect your fuel lines too since they can also leak after being disturbed too.
