gen 7 Aftermarket Stereo Install Help

I just installed a Jensen MP1313 Stereo in my 94 corolla DX. I tested it all out and it works fine. The problem is when i Try to put the dash back on. When I put it on, it doesn't seem to fit properly.

3 things happen:
1) the A/C button doesn't seem to attach properly - when the bezel is not installed, it lights up and works properly. But, When I attach the bezel and then the button, it doesn't work. I think it is not sitting properly and making a connection.
2) The stereo faceplate doesn't seem to fit through the opening in the dash panel. I tried attaching it from the inside but that didn't work either.
3) The screws that attach the dash panel to the car don't seem to go in. They just spin loosely. I don't think the bezel is sitting the whole way and the screws are not going into the thread.

How do I fix this? Has anyone had similar problems? I followed the instructions at http://www.wikihow.com/Update-a-Toyo...olla-Car-Radio to put it in and they all worked - except for putting the bezel back in.
I would rather not have to take it to a shop and have them look at it because they'll probably end up charging me a lot of money...

Thanks.

Make sure you lined up the stereo brackets correct is all I can say. It should be angled towards the driver slightly if it's in correctly. You always want to put the faceplate on last as well. Trial and error is the only real way to get it, but use those pictures as a reference as to where the brackets should be.

I ended up just using brute force and shoving the faceplate in there. Its a cheapo stereo so I doubt anyone is going to steal it anyway...
