UK Oil pan change corolla 96

Hi,
I need to change the oil pan on my Toyota Corolla 1.3 1996 due to small hole. Please can anyone help in telling my how to do it?

remove the old one and install the new one.

NOT hard job! You may need to use a knife to slice away the old gasket/silicone before you can remove the old pan.

Use gray silicone SPARINGLY!! A 1/8" bead is more than enough. Make sure the new pan is FLAT. Flanges can be warped or bent. I use the table of my table saw to check flatness.

Removing the brace is a ton of work in itself as 2 engine mounts are attached to it. So easier just using a small ratchet.

if you have the 1.3i 4efe engine this job is a potential pig as you have to drop the subframe, disconnect exhaust downpipe(bolts may snap). There is v.little room for manoeuvre.best done on a ramp.try to fix the hole and explore other avenues before starting.good luck
