I checked it out and it works. I put in a 2002 Toyota Camry and look under the brake system. Thanks!

gen 7 96 Corolla trunk lid won't open

96 Corolla

I can't open the trunk lid from the inside. Pulled the trunk lid release and i hear the lock clicked but i cannot lift up the trunk lid. looks like the lock is still holding the lid. i have someone pulled the release handle and lift the lid at the same time but it's still not working. and none of my keys can unlock the trunk from the outside. the keys fit in the lock but can't unlock (doesn't turn).
what should i do now??

thanks for any help.
