94 Corolla base model turns but no start..

i cleaned the engine because i had a radiator hose bust and anifreeze everywhere on motor, after rinsing engine and letting it set for a an hour
i went to crank it and it initially started but was running rough and cut off in like 2 seconds, hasnt cranked since then. i have spark at the plugs and even tried a shot of starting fluid and it still want even try to start up. so if i have fuel and fire why want it start? im at a loss as to what it could be, the ECM reads code 1 and nothing else, which is norml, checked each fuse with a fuse checker and inspected all fusible links. swapped out some relays with some i got from a
wrecked corolla and still no start. i initally though i fried something in the distibutor, but like i said i have a spark on all 4 plug wires. even put new plugs in , any ideas?
im in desperate need here, just spent 500.00 on a new timing belt and
water pump, belt job. i need to fix this myself if possible

i think i found my problem, although i got a spark it is yellowish, orange, not blue
so i bought a adjustable HEI tester and confirms spark want reach minimum distance for HEI ignition it barely arced when moving the hei adjustment to the standard ignition test, ordered a distibutor assembly today and am confident this will solve my problem. i hope anyway

Did it work??

My car accelerates extremely slow barely getting to 25 MPH with the pedal down and the exhaust sound like a train. My engine light was on for cyl 4 misifire and the o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1). Since then, I have replaced the o2 sensor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap with ignition rotor. I have been using the best gas I can get with sea foam or lucas. The car would drive very slow in 1st with the gas all the way down. This continued through the gears just using tons of gas spitting out black gray smoke with alot of bogging sputter. I was going to continue working on it today because I am still having the same issues, however the car will not turn over. The battery is brand new and the starter is about 3 years old now. I am not sure what to do because now I cannot get it to start correctly, any advice???
