pics of Lsi

Good evening all,

I have been posting here for a few months (bought a high mileage, 188,600 miles, Prizm Lsi in early February as a gas saver) and recently posted pics of the parts car I picked up last week. The Lsi is running nicely and getting 35-36 mpg. It has the typical rattle and shakes, but it doesn't bother me much. My next project is to replace the rear struts, considering swapping with the parts car (it only has 101,00 miles and rides much nicer). At any rate, I shot a couple of pics tonight after finally cleaning her up a bit. I also swapped wheels/tires from the parts cars, as my rubber was slick on the rear. I swapped all just to keep the appearance ok. My car came with the aluminum alloy wheels (which my wife prefers), but for now I think I prefer the stock black wheels, kind of the police cruiser look. I don't have to make a decision until this fall when I get new rubber, as these better tires only have about 3/32" of tread now.

I'm not figuring on any mods to speak of, just a daily driver that saves me gas $$ over the work truck, I drive 33 miles one way. I guess the one mod (if it counts) that I will likely do, is try and use the orange "wrap" on the park lights that I saw posted here last week.

yeah, you definitely need to fix the rear suspension as it looks like it is completely shot!
