Engine size vs body parts

Please reserve the lol's till after reading this thread regarding body parts for Corollas with different engine sizes. However, I must ask anyway (now I lol).

Sometimes when looking up parts in the interweb for my gf's 1993 Corolla (a base model with the 1.8l motor), I see reference and often different part numbers for body parts such as a drivers side mirror (manual adjust) for the different engine sizes. I would post an example link here but I'm not sure they are allowed. Is there sometimes a difference in these parts; specifically "general body parts" such as mirrors, and maybe more detailed parts like doors, fenders, etc... based on engine size? I realize that the grille and such may be different, but a mirror?

The only parts you need to worry about are mechanical ones and parts like motor mounts. Also, you can probably get cosmetic pieces cheaper at a junk yard if you feel like pulling them yourself. That or sometimes you'll get lucky and the junk dealer will already have them pulled for you if they're something desirable.
