Australia Removing Air Intake System

Hi guys,

I was wondering if I could get some advice towards removng the air intake system such as the airfilter and black/plastic funnels.

Do I have to remove the battery to take the whole system out?

Thanks

Jake

The air box is a few bolts under the filter and it pulls right out. I can't help with the funnels, as mine are still there to feed air to my short ram. But I am going to say yes, you will most likely want to remove the battery and tray wether you have to or not, just to make it easier to work in what is a rather small area.

Yes, you need to move the battery as there are bolts/screws that hold the snorkel pipe there, plus the resonator that resides in the front guard.

It is super super easy. Open the box, take out the filter, remove the bolts. Undo the hoses and you're pretty much done. There are some more pipes and boxes that you can remove, but you don't have to.
