94 Corolla - Blower Motor has only 1 speed

1994 Corolla and the blower motor only works on low speed. No brainer, right? Somewhere along the way the high blower relay went and also the resistor block (for speeds 2 &3). Nope! replaced them both, still the same

Got to now assume it must be the switch itself. Anyone else run into this?

Thanks,

I would assume your assumption too. Resistor failure makes the low speeds not work. Having one speed proves the fan works.

It can also be a wiring problem.

My 90 Pickup blower speeds narrowed down to slow, 2, slow, and slow. But with the temperatures here near 100, I needed high. I checked the resistors and they're all good, so it's probably the switch. To bypass the switch and get only high working, I pulled the plug from the resistors, then put a jumper across two wires. I used a piece of steel from an old wiper blade because it fits nice and snug into the plug.
