Hey guys I just joined and am hoping to find a lot more information and doing little things to my 96 corolla dx that I recently purchased as a daily driver. It is all stock right now but I plan on doing little appearance things to it to make it look better. I can't leave anything I own alone haha. I also have a 98 Mustang Cobra that is my toy car. Hope to learn a lot from you guys and getting to know you all.
Here are some pictures of my Corolla and my Cobra.
Dude, that Corolla looks very clean...good find!! Do you know what engine you have? Manual or Auto? Any plans for it? Welcome to TN...and nice Mustang BTW
Welcome to TN. That's a mint Corolla you have, on the outside at least :P shouldn't be too hard to get with the upgrades and such. Nice Cobra too, my friend recently bought one, they're great :P

Thanks man! I only gave 1600 for it also and it drives amazing! It has 170,000 on it and it is a 1.8 auto with power everything and cruise I just plan on doing some appearance things like grill, headlights, bumper, things like that, I want to find a bumper like what Kiwi-Corolla has. Nothing performance because I have the mustang for that

Thank you! It has a few spots that I plan on getting fixed soon but other than that it is really clean, The interior is mint also, that was my favorite part.

If you want that bumper, your best bet would be to contact him (kiwi, that is), but prepare to pay potentially a decent sum for the bumper as they aren't cheap, but even more for the shipping :P Unless you happen to find one local or Kiwi happens to get a great deal on one haha, then you'd have better luck than me. There's also some other members on here that may be able to get you one, just hafta look around. I wouldn't mind one either :P

Boy, I didn't know Toyota still did the "really it's not British Racing Green" color for the 7th gen, thought that ended with the 6th....nice Rolla, there's a bunch of different headlights through Ebay you can experiment with, I've tried 'em all, best light output and most unique look is the projector-style with the integrated corners. I know a bunch of places make body kits for the 7th gen, a lot of WRX-clone things, but there are some tasteful ones out there too (the old Erebuni kit comes to mind if they still make it), welcome to the board, best of luck, enjoy your mileage.

Haha yea I kinda like the color, and thanks for the heads up on the headlights, do you have a link to them? And yea as far as bumpers etc. I want it to be a clean look I'm not into big flashy body kits etc.
Also is there any free mods that you can do to these things for like functionality, performance, or gas mileage?
Welcome to Toyota Nation, and congrats on the purchase. That's a very tidy looking Corolla. Looking forward to watching it transform . As others have mentioned, the FX-GT front bumper is VERY expensive to ship. Currently trying to locate a company who can do it for a reasonable cost, but it seems they're all around the same price. As for the headlights, I currently have a pair of glass JDM headlights for sale (link in sig) . These cars are packed full of potential and there's loads of info here at TN, so feel free to browse around and make yourself at home
