Unhappy this freaking seat belt light ????

when i bought the car , the seltbelt light was always on. always driving a honda, i had no idea why it was always on. i figured the sensor in the seat belt was dirty, cleaned it. yet its still on. come to find out, the idiot that owned the car before the person i bought it from, cut the wires. they are extremely frayed and trying to fuse them back together would be impossible. i absolutely hate seeing lights on the dash as i am driving , and it is driving me up the wall. any way to get this fixed ????

i drive a 1993 corolla dx

doing what? You need to fix the wires obviously and then you'll be fine.
