Help

Ok, we got the new (used) exhaust manifold back on and tightened down. Now, the engine will not turn over. It make a (as in one) click but will not start. The car was running and starting fine when we took the manifold off. Any ideas. Could we have damaged the O2 sensor that is on the pipe. I had to hose the bolts down with Kroil to get them to break loose and some may have dripped onto the O2 sensor.

Jake try rapid repeated attempts with the key. I mean as fast as you can count. It may catch and that would prove to be starter contacts. Very common.

Thanks guys,

The wing nut on one battery terminal was loose enough to prevent it from cranking. Two turns to tighten it and she fired right up. All that work fighting the nuts off the manifold and then I spent three hours trying to find that simple little issue. Makes ya feel kinda stupid....................

I thought the battery was loose lol... I know how much work goes into the headers and figured it was a simple matter!
