Still no spark? (95 - 1.8L)

The other morning I went to start the car to no avail. Cranks perfect, fuel lines have pressure, and OHH no spark! Ok... I've replaced the ignition coil(no luck), ignition control module(still nothing), rotor(no?), and distributor cap(nope). Distributor is getting power, all fuses and relays are good... Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

crank sensor wasnt on your list.

BUT if you have done any reading on here you will find that there can be problems with the distributor as a whole, even on remans.

Just checked my book-

Code 12-
Distributor or circuit
Crankshaft position sensor or circuit
ECM or circuit

Hmmm lots of help huh!

Measure the resistance on the sensor- should be about 1.6k ohms (Book says it goes to 3.2 when HOT) Exact number is not as important as it ISNT zero or infinite.

If sensor is good then its back to your distributor.

Dont overlook something stupid like mice or woodchucks chewing on the wiring. Yes I DID have woodchucks chew through the connecting wires to a distributor!

Ok, so I tested my crankshaft sensor, cleaned off some gunk on the ground wire(?) popped that sucker back in. I had given up hope, was about to call my mechanic to make an appointment... ehhh I'll just give her ONE more try... jump in, inserted key, and turned with hesitation AHHHH!! she turned on!!! tried a couple more times and no problems. Could all this have been caused by a little gunk?

Ugh, same problem came back wth...
