Planning to so a transmission pan gasket on my 93 Toyota Corolla....nothing fancy.
Toyota recommends Dexron II, and I was planning to use Castrol Dex/Merc ATF. Is that a good choice of ATF?

Check the back, does it say it's dex3 compatible? If yes, then yes.

Meets DEXRON®–III H requirements. Also satisfies requirements of DEXRON®, DEXRON®–III, IIE, and II. Do not use this ATF in applications calling for DEXRON®–VI.
Meets MERCON® requirements. May also be used in power steering applications where MERCON® is required. Use Castrol Type F ATF in applications calling for Type F. Do not use this ATF in applications calling for MERCON® V

Should I use "house" or "generic" brand?
For example, Advance Auto Parts, PepBoys, Autozone, O'Reilly generic brand of ATF
